Hitting in Nail Head trim with a wooden mallet

Nail head trim is one of Richardson Seating's specialties. We have many styles with nail heads and we can add them to most of our styles as long as there is a long seam with piping. Here is a video of an employee at Richardson Seating using a wood mallet to hit in decorative nail head trim. It is very time consuming. Many of our bar stools have over 100 nails per back rest. We now have an automatic gun that shoots them without and uses a self feeder. When its down, we sometimes need to go back to the old fashioned way. It a good skill to maintain.  When it comes to using a nail gun, we have 3 different ones that we use.  The problem is that they break down a lot considering how expensive they are.
